I have a total of 9 CPTs created with pods on my site, the problem some pods on which comments support has been uncheked in advanced options seems to be still showing the comments option on the frontend & vice versa i.e some pods do not show comments option on the front end even after enabling comments support in advance options.

I need comments to be enabled for only 1 CPT & disabled for the rest 8 on my site, please help with resolving this

    Hi @adityafordesign

Could you check the “Allow comments” setting for the posts as well?
It might be that even though you’ve enabled comments for a post type the posts that are already published still have comments disabled and thus will overwrite the global post type setting.

Is it also possible that the theme itself is not checking if the post type supports comments, only that the “Allow comments” is turned on (which might be on by default on your WP install)?
