• Hi there,

I’ve installed wordpress on localhost (not available over Internet). After applying some updates (core + modules), I would like to test the site against the live site. The comparison should navigate on all website’s pages and check if localhost and live site are exact same content and visual layout. How to do so ? The site has hundreds of pages, links etc, so it’s virtually impossible to check all of them manually. They may have some online services but since the localhost site cannot be reached remotely, I don’t find a solution.
How to run full sites comparison like human would do ?
    Thank you for your help.

  • Hello,

I did some quick R&D, but didn’t find any online service or plugin which can compare the site content.

So either this has to be done manually, you can hire someone for this if it is hectic for you.

Another way, I can suggest is we can compare the Database SQL file, it may give some clarity. Only change in the Database would be URL i.e. one would like localhost URLs and another would be test site URL.

    Try if this approach helps.

    Thanks.
