• Hey everyone, I just updated to 2.9.1 and was done by manual because update feature never works. After uploading files and updating database, I logged in normal to restart my plugins. I have several plugins and started working my way down the list activating them. When I got to Simple:Press Forum it started and gave me a bunch of script errors for accessing the db I think. I could not read them fast enough. Then screen refreshed on its own and the dashboard was blank. I now have no access on the dashboard screen. I have no way of turning the forum to see if that caused the problem.

Simple:Press gave me a problem before also when updating to 2.8.4 where after activiating I was unable to access or edit my widgets. That issue is still unresolved and had no choice but do delete my website and reinstall to correct. Using Simple:Press 4.1.3. Please help if any one can. This is a live site.

  • Ftp into your site and rename the wp-content/plugins/simplepress folder. That should deactivate the Simple Press plugin and bring your Dashboard back.

Yes, I have just done that. I am going to try a reinstall of the forum.
