    I am setting up a new website and I have the latest versions of woocommerce (4.6.1) and square plugin (2.2.3).
    The Square setup page continually has no locations.
    I have tried dissconnecting, reinstalling many times.
    I created alternate locations in square with simple names but to no avail.
    Square have confirmed I am set up to take on line payments and they say the problem is not on their side.
    Log file extract below shows no data is being retrieved.
    I have spent hours trying to get this to work, please can somebody suggest where I should look. Many thanks

    Thanks for reaching out!

    Looks like your site cannot communicate with Square at all. Those are things I’d recommend checking :

    – if your host doesn’t block connections to https://connect.squareup.com/v2/locations/
    – if you (or your host) have not properly configured your SSL certificate, Square will be unable to authenticate your site during the connection process. This can result in the Business Location not populating
    – If your host has issues with cURL being improperly configured your site and Square will not be able to communicate

    If the issue persists, could you please share a copy of your site’s System Status? You can find it via WooCommerce > Status.
    Select “Get system report” and then “Copy for support”.  Once you’ve done that, paste it here in your response in coding brackets.

    Sorry not to respond sooner.
    I do not have sufficient knowledge to determine where the problem with square is happening.
    In the end I signed up for an account with Stripe and this worked first time and is running live now.
    Perhaps one day I will look again at square but for now Stripe is working fine.
