You need to do as suggested at the link https://wpforo.com/docs/root/forum-themes/theme-customization/ and then use the shortcode as mentioned at the link http://support.heateor.com/social-sharing-shortcode-and-widget/ in the template file at the exact position where you want the icons to appear.
