New Permissions Problem

    Whether updating manually or by the button inside the control panel, I have never had this problem before.

    After upgrading I see I cannot alter my sidebar.php file… there is no button to SAVE and I see a message that says I have to mess with permissions.

    What should the permission be for that particular file and the styles.css?

    What could have been changed to cause this?

    OK – hmmm I think when my server installed the new MySql/PHP stuff they tightened up their automatic permissions.

    I hope I have it right… folder 755, files 644? But that did not work.
