    Hello,
I have a problem with UM.
First off, the users weren’t able to update their own profiles, not even administrators could do it on themselves(although the UM settings were setted correctly).
I added 2 lines of custom code at UM short-function file and that way they could update their own profiles. Unfortunately, even with the settings of administrators setted to being able to edit other members, they weren’t able so I had to further add custom code to the above functions so a few administrators would be able to edit other users’ profiles.
Until now, it’s ok. I can work with this.
    The problem starts now:
I want users to being able to see other users’ profiles. Although the settings are correctly set from UM role options, the only way to be able to not getting redirected to homepage after trying to access a user’s profile, is to select the option “Can edit other member accounts?”.
I’d be able to work with that solution but unfortunately, when you are able to access a profile that way, it seems like you can change the info on the other profile, although the “Update” button doesn’t do anything (like it did on what I said in 1st paragraph) and he can even start the process to upload a new profile image.

    Any thoughts?

    Hi @poldamundo,

    Sorry for the late response.

How many user roles are assigned to your test account? If there’s more than one role, you must set one of the roles as Primary Role by adding a Priority number in the User Role Settings.

    Hello @champsupertramp,

I have 7 user roles in total:
Subscriber, Shop manager, Editor, Customer, Contributor, Author, Administrator
From which 4 users havbe the admin role and the rest are at Subscriber.
Each user has only 1 user role. (Haven’t found where you can add more roles, but I don’t need it to be honest).

When I was changing options when I was trying to make this work, I also changed the Priority Numbers. Subscriber now has the Priority number 1 and administrators the priority number 2. All the rest don’t have anything.
