I’m getting the following error again:

API Error: cURL error 28: Operation timed out after 30004 milliseconds with 0 bytes received

This was fixed before by changing the timeout value in the class-seo-analyzer.php from 30 to 60. There must have been an update because when I looked at the live version it was set to 30.

So I downloaded that version and changed it to 60 and loaded it back to the server.

The error changed to API Error: cURL error 28: Operation timed out after 60004 milliseconds with 0 bytes received. Since the number of milliseconds changed I know my change was applied to the server.

I tried increasing to 90 but that just got me a generic “error” message with no details.
I have tried clearing the analysis database log.

    Any ideas?
    Thanks

    Hello @jamesprw

Thank you for contacting the support and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

Can you please whitelist the IP 134.90.148.98 and the user-agent RankMathAPI/2.0.0; https://rankmath.com on your server?

The firewall might be blocking the requests.

    Looking forward to helping you.

I’ll consider asking my hosting service if they can do that. I’m on a shared server so there are some things they can’t do.

I did finally get results – it seems to be a matter of server load at any given time and therefore sometimes random which is unfortunate.

    I will keep you informed,
