Change place name

    Hi,

    Is it possible to change the place name displayed ? Like your facebook plugin.
    In the facebook plugin, i have just to modify the shortcode attribute page_name. But no effect in the google plugin with place_name attribute.

    Hi @ajoah,

    Sorry, it’s not possible at the moment.

    However, we will investigate the possibility to have this in the future, but I’m not sure will be available it, because it may depends from Google term and actually I’m not sure that it’s ok according to the Google agreement, but I think we will check it.

    I don’t know Google Terms but i saw it is possible on your premium plugin : https://richplugins.com/demos#badge
    On the demo you don’t display the place name but “Google Rating”

    It is a very simple feature. It would be great if it was in the free version.

    Hi @ajoah,

    The business plugin uses another Google API to show the reviews, it’s a private (for owners) API and as far as I know there’s no any limitation because it can be used only by owners.

    The free plugin uses a public Google Places API which is very limited according to Google terms, but as I said we will investigate the possibility to have this feature without breaking any agreements with Google.
