setup-config install creating problems?

In my rush, I just hunted out the familiar file to install wp with, and grabbed this one: /wp-admin/setup-config.php instead of /wp-admin/install.php.

It worked, but…
now I notice two strange things and wonder if this has to do with it and how to correct.

When I click View Site from the Admin Panel, the screen generated is blank. When I hit refresh, the login dialog box comes up (the links of which work to get me to the site or back to the panel, but it doesn’t feel right).

The other is that I’m almost positive I chose that empty categories should still show, but they are hidden nontheless.

I could live with both of these problems, but am afraid other script might also be messed up.

Has anyone done this too?
