This is on the latest version of WP, divi and LSC

So I’ve been following all the issues everyone’s been having and also face this issue in divi. As a means of ruling things out I’ve left the plugin enabled but disabled every single function of LSC.

When the pages are loaded in a fresh browser the initial load is terrible, when refreshed the page loads correctly:

Naturally I can’t leave a live site in that state so I’ve disabled LSC for now. The only other plugins on the site are yoast and bloom.

Not sure how to proceed now, is there an ETA on the fixes for the bugs introduced in 3.5?

    Thanks.

Btw, I have followed this advice and the problems remain

We indeed see some issues that we’re working hard to resolve. The new version 3.5.0.2 should have fixed these issues, or if you can perform the two steps:
    – Turn off all CSS/js/page optimization options
    – Purge the cache for the site

    Hi,

Could you please try disable lazyload ,and see how it goes ?

Thanks, I can confirm lazyload is not enabled but when inspecting the page I am seeing lazyload errors.

I’m always testing in a fresh browser with an empty cache.

    Thanks again.

What’s also strange is that the page loads the wrong background H1 image (usually for about 0.5 seconds, then displays correct one) this time the wrong image stuck:

Maybe the hosting company needs to flush their cache? Don’t know what to suggest, might just try going back to pre 3.5

    Hi,

no , caching is not working on your site at all , so page is not cached , no need to flush any cache , only your browser cache.

now could you please export your current setting , and reset to default , see how it goes ?

Forgive me if I’ve caused any confusion, I can’t leave the plugin enabled so I’m enabling it, doing some tests and disabling it again so to you it probably appears it’s simply not working.

I have to turn it off. I have already done your suggestion, I’ve also uninstalled the plugin and reinstalled.

I checked the FTP and there wasn’t an LSC folder so unless there is data residing elsewhere I have completely removed the plugin and reinstalled.

I’ve duplicated the site on a different server, report # IPCQDSND

    Hi,

Yes, but have you tried with default setting ?

    Progress I think…

Plugin active, reset and pages appear ok

Now to switch things on one by one I guess?

    Hi,

yes, switch things on one by one

or tab by tab to speed up process.

I did manually turn off everything and the problem remained but after the reset I turned everything on tab by tab, turns out the issue was (and I probably forgot to turn off) instant click.

So it looks like there’s an issue with instant click that caused the strangeness seen in this thread. When I turn it off it goes away.

Hope I’m not speaking too soon but as I right now that’s how it looks.

I’m nearly 100% sure it worked before the update btw.

Instant click loads page in different way , some site is not compatible with it
