Hello,
I am facing a problem with my sitemap indexing.

I submitted my sitemap to GSC around 3 weeks ago, and still, 0 URL discovered.
I only put the: /sitemap_index.xml but nothing gets detected. like my posts, page, or categories.

but today when I added them individually. and they are instantly discovered!
so, what’s going on with the sitemap_index.xml ? why it is not getting discovered?

@groovice We checked on your sitemap, and it appears that you are using the Rank Math plugin to generate the sitemap. If you aren’t using the Yoast SEO plugin to create your sitemap, you would need to contact Rank Math’s support for assistance with this. You can contact their support here: https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/seo-by-rank-math/

Yeah, my problem solved after deleting the Yoast SEO plugin.
