I have several BOGO coupons that we want to promote at one time. I didn’t read anything that said there would be conflicts if we have multiple coupons activated at the same time.

NOTE: I deactivated all plugins except woo commerce plugins and am still experiencing many bugs. I also changed the them to Twenty Twenty and still have problems with coupons.

After spending multiple days with this plugin and creating several coupons I am losing my mind…

First I created one BOGO coupons and tested it. I set it up so that the condition would show the one-click notification when one specific sunglass is in the cart. The notification tells the customer that they are eligible for a coupon and they can click to activate the coupon.

After they click that, the cart notification changes and displays the BOGO notice which tells them that now they can update the Qty to get the free sunglasses. I tested this several times and it seem to work properly (site is in maintenance mode).

Again, these notifications are active when there is one specific sunglass in the cart and the notifications are directing the customer to first activate the coupon and second, add the free item to the cart. I believe that I did this correctly but the documentation does not seem to specifically address how to link all of these things together, so I’m not sure if it’s correct.

I’m a bit confused as to whether the Cart Conditions only control the display of the One Click Apply Notification or if Cart Conditions also control the activation of the BOGO coupon. I hope I’ve explained this in an understandable manner.

Please take a look at these screen shots of settings and cart display:

After I created this coupon, I cloned it and changed the products and notification messages for other products that gets the same type of deals. I did that for 6 different products and tested them all and everything worked. Then I did a couple more and suddenly the coupon was getting applied when there was only Qty: 1 in the cart for a particular product. WTH? Then I tried another and the same thing happened. Then I went back and checked the other coupons and now they are all applying when there’s only one item in the cart!

Again all plugins disabled except woo commerce and advanced coupons (of course).

It seems as though there’s an issue with the cache. I went through a few of the setups on the coupons and tested agin while recording screencasts. Everything worked great until I did two things; I had multiple coupons activated and multiple items in the cart. I wanted to see what would happen if I clicked on Remove on two of the coupons, and I deleted the other product (that still had an active coupon in the cart) from the cart.

Then I went back to the product pages and added those items into the cart again. NOW the madness begins. I have not changed any of the coupon settings, but now every product is getting the discount when there is only Qty: 1 for each of them in the cart. The same didscount applies if I update the Qty to 2. But then if I changed each of them back to Qty:1 in the cart, they are all $0 Subtotal.

Is this a CACHE issue? How can this be fixed?

Tested in Chrome and Firefox on Mac.

I installed Litespeed Cache and thought that had fixed this problem but in more testing I just found that if I have a coupon activated and the product that it pertains to has been updated to Qty:2, then if I delete that product from the cart while the coupon is still applied in the cart and then I add 1 unit of the product into the cart again, the 1 unit is getting the $0 override. This is a MAJOR bug.

    Hi @sunbeltusa,

I’m sorry to hear that you’re having some trouble there.

I tried to replicate the issue based on your explanations and screenshots. In my end, I’m able to apply the coupons properly: https://snipboard.io/KkNBia.jpg

Please make sure that the cloned coupons have the correct product in the Cart Conditions setting.

I had created a ticket but got impatient waiting for a response. I have checked every settings and I even went back through each one and recorded the screen until the error occured again. Several hours of time down the drain.

We have this plugin in two websites (about 10 days on the first site). After experiencing problem with the second site I went back to the first site and see the same problems occuring there as well. I had to disable all promotions for both sites now.
