Hi there,

I’m trying translating Woocommerce in my website.
First of all I tried with Loco translate (which was 100% translated) but in frontend 90% of Woocommerce label still in english, can’t solve with Loco Translate(I also deleted the whole plugin translatoin to create another one but onthing changed).

Now I’m trying with .mo files taken from here https://translate.wordpress.org/projects/wp-plugins/woocommerce/stable/it/default/
following this guide https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/woocommerce-localization/#section-4
but it’s not working (same results as Loco Translate, few button translated).

What I’m doing wrong?

Hi there,

Just to check – is your site language and profile language set to Italian?

Also: Is your theme overriding any templates? If it is, you’d need to *also* translate your theme as well as any plugins that have English strings on the front-end.

Hi there!

yes is set to Italian.

I just assumed in Woocommerce Status that the theme(not the child which is active) is overriding basically every template

So I get it I’ll trying that way,
