Slideshow for homepage

Hi! I’m looking for a plugin that could permit me to embed a slideshow of pictures (and maybe a short description text) like the one which’s in this site http://www.isopoda.net.
I don’t want any thumbs or button, just the possibility to charge pictures from a given folder and show them like “rotating banners” in a frame of the homepage.
In my site http://www.anura.it I have something very close to what I want, but it’s just a swf file i made with Flash (not so “dynamic”)…
