    Hi guys.

I’m using Stripe and have Apple Pay activated, am also selling subscriptions to sell recurring products and can see one major problem.

It’s stated on the woocommerce Stripe page that Apple Pay can only be used for single purchases and not subscriptions, but if I have a subscription product in the cart, the option of Apple Pay still shows.

Is there a way to hide Apple Pay if there’s a subscription product in the basket?

    Thanks

  • Hi @aaronbennett2097 – I think you may have misunderstood the documentation.

That states: “Currently, Simple and Variable products and Subscription products are supported. The buttons won’t show for other Product types (such as Bookings) and won’t work with custom product fields.”

Did you happen to see something conflicting elsewhere that you can link us to? If so, we would love to get that fixed.

    Thanks for confirming Joey.

    I think you’re right – I saw this…

Please note that Apple Pay is only available for one-time transactions at this time, so it is not possible to support WooCommerce Subscriptions or any sort of recurring or delayed billing.

    on…
    https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/accepting-apple-pay-woocommerce/

But that looks like it’s woocommerce in general, not Stripe specifically.

Am glad it can do recurring payments.

Glad that you got this sorted, sorry about the confusion in the docs there.

    You have a great one!
