  • Hi pip,

i have just for fun installed the MeteoGroup of your link into my website.
Feel free to have a look:
http://www.der-letzte-echte-bayer.de (sry, only in german this website 🙂

It´s very easy to put this into your wordpress website.

    1st
click inside the admin-backend on “Widgets”. There must be one Widget which allows you to insert your own HTML-Code. In my (german!) wordpress-installation this widget is called “TEXT”.

So copy and paste the html code which is shown on:
    http://www.meteogroup.co.uk/uk/home/weather/services/homepageweather.html
…into the TEXT-Widget and drag-and-drop this widget to your sidebar to make it visible.

To show your-towns-weather inside the meteogroup-plugin you need to follow the instructions which are shown on their website. Here i have copy the instructions for you:

    Weather on your website

In 3 easy steps you can embed the current weather forecast in your website:

    1. Fill in the name or post code of the desired city and press the button search city. A list with cities matching your search will be shown. Click on the desired city.

    2. Choose the contents to be displayed and configure the homepage weather with your design preferences. You can use one of our four design-templates as a basis.

    3. When you have entered your settings, click the button update HTML code below the homepage weather preview. Now copy the updated HTML-Code and paste it in your website where the weather forecast will be shown. Your homepage weather is now finished!

    Have Fun 🙂

    Thanks Axel

    That was un-cannily easy…

I could just look out of the window of course, but it’s nice to see it on the site!

    Phil
