Hi @dragondefeu76. WooCommerce emails are sent using WordPress’s built-in wp_mail() function, which is not encrypted by default. There are certainly ways you can add encryption to the emails sent from your site, though. Some of your options for this are laid out here.
Could this be a concern, a security breach if for example I upload files to download (epub) which are on my dropbox? Do you think these links can be hacked?
That’s surprise me…
Thank you very much !
Actually, I already use use the “choose file” option when uploading product files + they need to be logged and at the end I have setting up to allow only one donwload.
That is good, don’t you think ?
In this topic, they also talk about “This will put the upload in a special folder that blocks outside access directly”, I think that is a good news, no ?
It reassure me.
@dragondefeu76 Yes, it sounds like you’ve taken the steps necessary to make this secure, aside from sending encrypted emails. I think you’re all set!
We haven’t heard back from you in a while, so I’m going to mark this as resolved. Feel free to start a new thread if you have any further questions!
