Should backup WP files

I know what it says but I feel this should be a core feature of this plugin. I’m looking for a way to backup a site for the sole purpose of restoring a site should something go wrong with an update that will allow me to quickly restore the site. Downloading an older version of WP and FTPing it to the site is not something that can be done “quickly” in order to restore a site that has crashed, as happened when I updated a site to WP 5.5.

This really isn’t a request for support, just wanted to voice an opinion about not having this feature.
