    This is strange. Could you please paste the shortcode you are using, and the URL to your WordPress blog?

    Have the same issue.

    [catlist id=4] is the shortcode I’m using.

    http://www.newoxfordwrestling.com/wordpress/beginning-champions/announcements

    Try something like this:

    [catlist ID=145 numberposts=10 order=asc]

    works for me…

    I have the same problem. I’m on WP 2.8.4. Here is my shortcode: [catlist ID=87 orderby=date mycategory numberposts=-1 excerpt=yes]

    But, even though i enter this in HTML mode, it keeps adding the <p> code so, it actually looks like this on the screen after i save it

    <p>[catlist ID=87 orderby=date mycategory numberposts=-1 excerpt=yes]</p>

    Not sure if that is the problem but, in any case, the shortcode doesn’t work, it just appears as text.
