Disabling points accumulation

I’m using Hooks for users to click on links to earn points. It’s contest based and the points need to stop accumulating when the clock runs out. Until I’m able to find an automation solution I need to halt the accumulation manually.

As a test I tried setting it to 0 points for clicking on link but that didn’t work.

Any other solution/thoughts?
