@giacomo1 if you have both PayPal PDT and IPN notifications enabled, we recommend disabling PDT. PayPal has a page on that here.
If that doesn’t solve it, please reach out to the PayPal plugin developer (Mollie) for further help.
Hey @tijosh,
why should I disable PDT?
In the article it says
“… use PDT if your site includes a feature that requires immediate payment notification”
and
“… PDT sends order confirmations immediately. With IPN, such immediate order fulfillment is not possible.”
–> PDT seems like the right setting.
The problem only happens with the new version of WooCommerce (not Mollie payments) and it works with the old version of WooCommerce.
Are you sure that asking another plugin developer will be able to solve the WooCommerce issue?
Best,
Giacomo

@giacomo1 you can certainly use PDT if you’d like; however, we would recommend disabling IPN in that case. Having both enabled means that the site will receive two payment confirmation notifications; this can sometimes adverse affect the order status.

Can you clarify if the problem persists when using a core payment method, such as Cash on Delivery or PayPal Standard?
