On sale schedule date sometimes/randomly happened to sale products

    Many product sales on schedule sales dates(for example 20200909-20200920), some products, randomly, will stop sales price. (We knew because the price was given by out staff to the customer, so the customer report there’s no sales price on our website).

    The issue happens all the time, but with random products, so it’s hard to replicate. Sometimes we thought it’s fixed but it happens again. We’ve tried to log activities and find no use. WP cron doesn’t show errors.

    Any way to find out what went wrong?

    Hi there,

    I checked on the WooCommerce Github for similar issues, but didn’t find any that seem to match your peculiar situation.

    Do the product actually become not-on-sale anymore (you can only buy them at the normal price), or do they just stop showing the sales price? Is this on your normal store pages, or does it happen on, for example, custom pages you created using a shortcode?

    With only the info you gave at hand, I can suggest to check to see if it might be a conflict created by one of your other plugins or theme. Here’s how to do that:

    This type of test can be disruptive to your live site, so I recommend setting up a staging site. A staging site is useful in the long-run too, for testing changes or updates to make sure they don’t break anything, before apply those same changes to your live site.

    We actually found out that there’s a possibility that a third party might be the reason and starting to find out from the third party at the mean time. Will return to this at a later stage.
