MEC countdown displaying end events date – Part 2

    Hi guys.

    I had the same problem my countdowns counting until the end of an event instead of the beginning.

    The solution in another thread was to set the “hide event” option to “on event start”. That works but is not the logical solution in any case.

    If I have a long term event like 3 months or so I might want to offer the opportunity people could hop on the train while the event is still running. However, a countdown that is running until the end of the event will confuse those who like to start from day 1.

    Plus, I might want to show the ongoing events to make people interested in follow up events.

    To me the best would be having a separate option for the countdown to let it count to the begin AND having the event shown over the begin date if wanted.
