Could you please share us with the fields that you are referring here?
Thank you!
Hello again,
I was referring to the shipping_address_1 and the shipping_postcode.
Then I realized that no shipping details are sending to the vendor if the address is optional, so now I have made an optional field only the postcode/zip.
Here is the checkout image I am receiving: https://ibb.co/fSyTy09
Though, if you can suggest a way to make and the shipping address optional it would be a delight.
Thank you in advance.
Hello once again,
Since I have not heard from you for a while I should conclude that there are no suggestions after all, right?
Regards,
Lina
We have already forwarded your requirement to our technical team. They will check the feasibility of adding a solution in the next version of our plugin.
Thank you!
We have released a new version of our plugin (lite version) in which we have provided an option “Enable required validation override for address fields.” in the Advanced settings tab. Now you will be able to make the shipping_address_1 as not required.
Please enable the above option and make the shipping_address_1 not required using our plugin and verify it from your side.
We hope this will help.
Thank you!
Hello and thank you for your answer,
The problem with the red asterisk no longer exists, so I thank you for that.
Although, when the shipping_address_1 is not a required field the rest of the shipping details are not sending to the admin’s and to the customer’s email.
Regards,
Lina
We believe that the issue that you are facing is showing an N/A under the shipping details. If so, this is a WooCommerce default functionality.
At the time of display, they will check whether there is a value in the shipping address field. If it is empty, then it will show the value as N/A.
Unfortunately, it is not possible to modify it according to our requirements.
Thank you!
