Make gallery from folder, with only recent images?

Hi, I need an image plugin that’ll make a gallery directly from a folder, with the option of only display a user chosen number of the most recent images.

To be clear, here is my situation: I have a webcam that uploads stills, a new one each day, to a folder on my webhost. I need to display those stills on a WordPress page, only I need to only display the most recent six. The entire process needs to be automated.

Thanks for any help, it’s really difficult figuring out if any of the gallery plugins can do this. MTN
