Unknow Characters in WordPress 2.9.1 AR

    Good day all,

    I have installed WordPress 2.9.1 AR but the problem is that whenever I write something in Arabic, it’s written OK but when I publish it, it will become all a question marks like this: ??? ?????? ????

    Can anyone help with that please?

    I’m guessing you are giving the wrong charset for the page. Do you have an url?

    I guess maybe it isn’t the charset of the page. UTF-8 works for everything except the post content. How are you entering the content? Are you typing it in or copying and pasteing? Also, any idea what the charset of your database is? Do you have access to something like PhpMyAdmin?

    I’m entering by typing it in.

    About the charset of my database, I don’t have any idea but I have access database.

    If you are using PhpMyAdmin browse to your wordpress database, make sure you are looking at the ‘structure’ tab, and then look over near the right to ‘Collation’. What is in there?
