• I’ve taken to using w.bloggar ( http://www.wbloggar.com ) as a posting / editing tool on my WordPress blog ( memecast.holotone.net ) – However, whenever I submit a post using the tool, it goes through successfully, and even shows up as an editable post via the WordPress Admin panel – Posted, published, everything. But for some reason, it just doesn’t show up on the main page for anywhere from 2-4 hours, then randomly appears. The same problem occurs when I edit a post using w.bloggar, once edited, it will “disappear” for 2-4 hours, then reappear where it was, edited.
I posted this issue to the w.bloggar forums as well ( http://www.wbloggar.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=2174 ), but the absolute lack of response after a week leads me to beleive that it’s either a pretty uncommon problem, or a WordPress specific one. I’m completely stuck on this one, Help!

  • If it’s showing up in the admin panel but not on the frontpage, it could be a timezone issue. You see, you can post things in WP in the future, and they won’t show up until that moment. So, this is what it sounds like. You’re posting from a different timezone that is ahead, it gets posted to WP using that “future time” and only shows up x hours later when the WP-server timezone catches up. Makes sense?

There’s no timezone settings for w.bloggar, and the settings for MemeCast are set to “Times in the weblog should differ by: -7” (I’m in US Mountain Time, this is correct, right?). The post time listed in under “Edit” is the correct time, it lists the exact time that I posted it. I’m completely stumped here!
