Automatic timezones in eme

    Thank you for this excellent plugin! Is there a way to have timezones in EME? We have users from different spots in the world setting up events with different timezones. In order to make the timezones clear to people who sign up for the event, we currently have different email templates for each category of event… with the only difference being whether the template reads:
    You have successfully booked a seat for #_EVENTNAME on #_STARTDATE at #_STARTTIME Pacific Time.
    or
    You have successfully booked a seat for #_EVENTNAME on #_STARTDATE at #_STARTTIME Eastern Time.
    or wherever they are…

    This would obviously much easier (i.e. we could have a single template) if there were simply a way to write:
    You have successfully booked a seat for #_EVENTNAME on #_STARTDATE at #_STARTTIME #_TIMEZONE

    and timezone were a part of the event creation. Thank you for clarifying if we have overlooked something!

    Currently EME doesn’t support timezones. The thing is that it is not too difficult to allow the choice of timezone, the problem relies in converting from 1 timezone to another when displaying the event in the calender, and the unknown factor of user timezones (I try to take into account the client time via javascript, but that’s not perfect either).
    Maybe I’ll already start with just allowing the timezone choice and go from there later on …

    I went to the link and tried to Register in order to submit the feature request, but was taken to a 404 page.

    Weird … doesn’t happen when I try it. But I’ll take a note of the feature request myself (it is on my todo list …)
