[Plugin: SEO Ultimate] Google Webmaster Verification Code Not Working

    I added the code minus any quotes but could not get Google to verify. I tried several times. The very same code added to Yoast’s Robots Meta immediately verified. Bug or should the verification code be added in some other way?

    Otherwise, a wonderful plugin. I look forward to its continued development!

    Hi ririzarry,

    Thanks for reporting this. The problem is caused by Google changing the code used for verification. I’ll release an SEO Ultimate update shortly that will use the new code.

    Version 1.4.1 (released January 11, 2010) supports the new Google Webmaster Tools verification code. Let me know if you continue to run into verification problems.
