I am wondering if it is worth it to use OMGF with Autoptimize to improve speed and what the recommended settings would be?

Definitely! You can set Autoptimize to Optimize Google Fonts > Leave as is. Then configure OMGF to optimize the fonts.

Autoptimize and OMGF run very well together. 🙂 Autoptimize’ll pick up OMGF’s stylesheet and minify it, if you have minification enabled in Autoptimize.
