Duplicate page ACF fields missing

    Hi,

    I duplicate pages with the Yoast duplicate pages plug-in but the ACF aren’t copied across (we have a carousel and product field etc).

    Is there a way to duplicate the page with precisely the same information that appears in the back office?

    Hi,

    We would like some more information.

    1. Can you confirm you are using the most recent Yoast SEO, v14.8.1 and v3.2.5 of the Duplicate Post? If you update, does the issue resolve?

    2. Are all your non-Yoast plugins and themes also updated?

    3. Can you confirm you are using WordPress 5.5? You can check by clicking on the W in the top left and selecting About. If you need to update, please check with your host provider. Please know that if you are using an older version of WordPress Core you may experience unexpected behavior with Yoast. This guide explains more: https://yoast.com/why-we-dont-support-old-wordpress-versions/.

    4. Can you elaborate more on what specific ACF fields are not duplicating correctly? Is it just a gallery and a text field?

    5. Is this happening on pages or products?

    Hi!

    Yoast SEO is not activated. Yoast duplicate page is version 3.2.5.

    I’m actually trying to duplicate the pages. I’ve just udpated the plugins. Our theme is up to date to, WP 5.5 also.

    So, this is our current page:

    When I duplicate the home page, I don’t get the elements you can see on the pages.. the carousel, the header images. These were built with ACF but they are not duplicated when I duplicate the page.

    Is this normal?

    Hi @andyoshaughnessy,

    We tested duplicating a page with an ACF Text field, Gallery, and Image fields and the values from the original page appeared as expected.

    Unfortunately, we’re not able to get information about the ACF fields from looking at the frontend of the homepage. Could you send us more details about the field group settings or a link to a screenshot that shows how the ACF fields are set up on the page edit screen?
