Site still slow

My web host has litespeed server, so I installed the litespeed cache plugin and configured it following a 40min youtube tutorial. But when testing on GTMetrix and google speed test, my site scores much lower than when I was using Autoptimize. Why is that? Or should I run them together? I would have expected the litespeed plugin to be the best. Thanks

Could you please provide the report number ?

You can get it from toolbox -> report , click “send to LiteSpeed”

Hi,

please use same input domain

on LSCWP case, you used URL http:// , instead of https:// as you did on AO , redirection will add extra timing.

and I would also like to see the detail information in pagespeed insight, your screenshot only gives score without any detail information.

Hmm maybe it was just the redirection thing that I had been doing wrong, as now google sitespeed score is better! Still, is there anything you can spot that I can improve?

I noticed you have cloudflare , but based on my test, it seems TTFB is even lower without CF.

Hi,

on my test, I was using local host to bypass CF and directly connect to your origin , but it might just have particular good connection between my computer and your origin , but may not be a general case.

so you may need to test it out with and without CF, and see how it goes in general case.

True, turning off the clourfare option in the plugin did seem to improve on my end also. Ok – thanks for all of your help Qtwrk! 🙂

Sorry! Just one more question:

Some of the titles on some pages don’t load properly with the plugin turned on.

I notice that every time though that I refresh the page then it loads fine.

Do you know what setting I need to tweak so it loads properly each time?
