If a user who is not logged in browses your calendar and tries to register for an event, it will show a registration form. This form is missing the username field. The email is used as the username. I want my users to be able to create a username different from their email address. This is important as I don’t want to publish their email addresses on the blog site.

So, is there a simple way to either add the username field to the form, or to change the link to “https://<sitename>/wp-login.php?action=register” as this form has both username and email as separate fields.

  • As checked, this issue is not reproducing at our end. We would like to tell you that Email is necessary for registration. We suggest you to use our plugin RegistrationMagic for registration of the user and use it with Eventprime. But here also the Email field is necessary, the user can not register without providing an email address.

I understand. I just don’t want the username to be the same as the email address. I will look at the plugin you suggested. Thank you.
