• Hi,

My site recently underwent a revamp. Previous version was an old version or wordpress (no GA tracking too). Some urls were not used anymore as the content was not needed.

Now, the website is already published & tracked in GA.

Yet, I noticed, under Page Views, it tracks links from the previous version of the website.

    e.g
    /archives/95
    /form/
    /archives/86

My current website does not have these links anymore.

How can i ensure these old links won’t reflect in my GA anymore?

  • These are external links? You would have to make the changes in Analytics if they were links to your site. If they are external you would have to talk to the site owner about modify the links or deleting them. You could also look into redirect them to a different part of your site.
