Hi @arrisje,
I have checked and couldn’t replicate any problem with the site’s drop down menus. Perhaps this got resolved in the meantime? If it persists in your case, please let us know what browser and device are you using.
That’s correct my website is working with the previous version of nextgen. As soon I install the new one the app dropdown will not work. If you need me to install the new version in order to see what I’m talking about let me know then I will.
Hi @arrisje,
Yes – it looks like we’ll need a replicable instance of the issue so we’ll need you to update NextGen Gallery to see if it throws any JS issues that would prevent the menu from correctly expanding.
I have the same problem since wordpress update has cost me money with outside help and still not working as before. Too many updates that are unnecessary and not enough attention to detail. So in Posts I go to my next update on my website then Edit then I go to set featured image and I get a whole different format, can’t see media library or file update. On the publish section setting a schedule the edit button doesn’t work!
Hello Per your request I updated to the most current version. The dropdown menu is not working, neither on the ipad. Could you please check it out? It was working fine with the previous version.
I rolled back to previous version 3.3.6 and still have text missing on my photos, frankly a nightmare with clients moaning that after all these years I am letting them down and still no solution from Imagely. I installed Jquery migrate helper and redux that sorted me for the classic editor but the text problem is annoying me and I cannot see a solution from Imagely!
If I don’t get no answer soon I’m rolling back to the previous version. 🙁
Hello @arrisje,
It might be the case that is a combination of more than one plugin or a direct conflict with your theme.
Let’s check the following:
– Temporarily deactivate all your plugins except NextGen Gallery.
– Is the problem solved? Then, it was caused by one of your plugins. Please check one by one and find the one causing the problem.
– If the problem is not solved with the deactivation of the plugins, try changing to a standard WordPress theme, it could be a conflict with your current theme.
Please, keep us posted.
