Useless carousel
-
I installed the package mainly for the carousel add-on. But it was useless, since You can’t add images to it, You can only select templates. Bizarre, but what’s worse is that a) the edit mode will only display one image even though all visible is selected, and 2) the Adjust height function doesn’t work at all.

First of all, we’re so sorry for any inconvenience you had with our plugin. I totally appreciate your frustration. I hope you accept my apology and just give us the chance to help you.
Premium Carousel widget typically works with Elementor templates which gives you the ability to add any content you want (text, images, widgets, etc.) – So, all you need to do is to create a section template, add the content you want to it, then select it through the carousel widget settings. Here’s a video tutorial showing up how you can do that.
On the other hand, regarding slides not showing issue. This usually happens due to Elementor Stretch section option and we have already created an article regarding this issue.
Regarding height function. I’m not sure if I totally got what you’re referring to, so we would be grateful if you could elaborate a bit more so we can help.
Again, we’re so sorry for any inconvenience and we will do our best to help you getting these issues resolved as soon as we can, so it would be greatly appreciated if you could give us the chance to help 🙂
Look forward to hearing from you.

Hi again,
What I’m saying is this: When creating a carousel with images of different sizes, the main difference being that some of them are in portrait mode while the majority are in landscape mode, the result is that all images get the same width. So the portrait mode images are much longer than the landscape ones, creating an ugly empty space at the bottom. This is regardless of the image’s original size, importing a scaled-down image will only result in exactly the same image size in the carousel, only with worse solution.
I want all the images to have the same height, so there should be a way to scale down the portraits to a minimum height set to be the hight of the landscapes. This is essential in an image gallery carousel of course.
This is an unsolvable problem in the “regular” Elementor Carousel widget, that’s why I thought the Premium widget could do better, because it has an “Adaptive height” setting, but turning this function “ON” changes absolutely nothing. The portrait images are still sticking out.
I’ve unsuccessfully searched everywhere for a solution, if You can present one I will be forever grateful.
I’m using the free version of Elementor, by the way.Oh, and the thing with the template selection, I understand the function, but how can you later add more images without first creating a new template? You should be able to just add them to your existing carousel, I think.

Hope you’re doing well today 🙂
First of all, thanks for getting back to us. We greatly appreciate that.
Well, first please let clarify a couple of points:
- Adding functions to the carousel widget to control the content inside is not a perfect idea in terms of code, because we can’t know which content will be added by the user, so for example adding an option to change images height will make the code bigger, hence will make the plugin slower. We are not even sure that user will insert images into the widget. That’s why we added the option to use Elementor templates instead of adding the content manually, because we see that it would be better for user to insert any content he wants with the settings that match his needs just by creating a template, selecting it from the carousel widget.
- On the other hand, editing existing templates is really simple. All you need to do is to navigate to your WP Dashboard -> Templates tab, click “Edit With Elementor”. Once you update your the template, carousel automatically shows the updated version of your template. You don’t have to create a new template every time you need to change something.
We would be so glad to help you with the issue you’re having with Elementor Images, but could you just please share a link where I can check things further from my end?
Regards
