    Hello – Any update please?

    Plugin Author codepeople

    Hi,

I recommend you to install an email log plugin, these type of plugins will register each email sent from WordPress to the email server and you can see the exact time the email was sent.

The result of that test probably will point to an email delivery issue in the email server since the plugin uses the email delivery option defined for your WordPress, the options to deal with this type of issue are (one of the following):

Option 1: Contact the hosting support service indicating the delivery delay. You will get this info comparing the email log (time where the email was sent) with the time when the email was received. Ask to the hosting support service about the cause of that delay.

Option 2: If the hosting support service isn’t helpful you can opt for using a free external email delivery service, like a Gmail account connected through a WordPress SMTP plugin.

Option 3: Another alternative is to use a professional email delivery service like SendGrid.com , this one contains both paid and commercial packages and it has a detailed log info about the email orders and delivery status.

Thank you for using the plugin!
