Noob help with template modification

    Hi
    Ive only been using WP for a few day and really like it. I need to alter a few things on my site but Im not sure how to do it.

    Here is the site http://www.freebiethings.co.uk/wordpress

    1) I need to make a picture a clickable link that is part of the theme. (The row of pics below the navigation bar)

    2) I need to add a picture to the header (It says freebiethings there at the moment)

    3) I need to remove the search function from the navigation bar

    4) I need to remove Pages, Archives and Categories from the side bar. I could do with having Meta hidden so only admin can see it, If thats too difficult to do, Completly remove it.

    Right, I should have actually tried to do what I wanted to do without asking how to do it first.

    I am only stuck on number 2 now, Ive done the rest.
