Pods shortcode and limit posts displayed error

I have a simple pods shortcode, which does as expected and displays the last 3 posts using the template I created, but at the end of the display it writes the message:

“Please provide either a template or field name”

I don’t understand why it is doing this. I tried some things to try and figure it out with no success so far.
