  • either:
    make a copy of your image in the same location and name it ‘kubrickheader.jpg’. (or just rename it)

    or, alternatively, edit style.css :

    #header {
    	background: #73a0c5 url(images/blog-header.jpg') no-repeat bottom center;
    	}

    also, make a copy of your full default theme and save it under a new name, so it will not be overwritten with the next update.

    Hi alcymyth

    I renamed the file & it works. I will copy the files so I don’t lose it next upgrade.

    Thanks so much for your help 🙂

    Hi again

    Just when you thought it was safe to go back in the water…

    The header image & background on the blog home page is fine however when you go to one of the posts the header image is repeated down the page.

    I edited the style.css & changed the header information to what you had above but I still get the kubrickheader.jpg image repeated down the page on the individual posts. What do I need to change to fix this?

    Thanks again
