First of all, please make sure that your Square location is Active and has Credit Card Processing enabled: https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/woocommerce-square/#section-4

You can also enable logging in WooCommerce > Setting > Square and check what the square log returns in WooCommerce > Status > Logs (choose square log in the drop-down).

You’ll see a list of returned locations there and if they’re active and Credit Card Processing is enabled:

Thanks for the logs!

They do indicate that no location is fetched at all. Did you connect your site to your Square account in WooCommerce > Settings > Square?

If yes, can you please reconnect?

Also, can you please check that Square account you’re connecting to has a location added?

Hi there @apexa0123,

Are you connecting your site to Square in live or sandbox mode?

For live mode, no apps are needed. When you click Connect, you’re redirected to Square where you can log in and be redirected back.

Is that what’s happening?

I am connecting site for live mode, and yes it redirects me to square login and after giving permissions I redirected back to the site,

@apexa0123, no SKUs are not needed on the step of connecting your site but they will be necessary to sync your products.

Square is a standalone plugin running between your site and Square and we don’t have access or any means to set up such connection on our end.

Could you please share a copy of your site’s System Status? You can find it via WooCommerce > Status.
Select “Get system report” and then “Copy for support”. Once you’ve done that, paste it here in your response in coding brackets.

Here are a few more things to check:

– Check with your host if communication requests to either of the following endpoints are going through:


https://connect.woocommerce.com/renew/square
https://connect.squareup.com/v1/me/locations

– If your site has proper SSL configured. I don’t see any errors for your site in https://www.sslshopper.com/ssl-checker.html#hostname=www.pharmtreehealthcare.com but it’s still worth checking if your host see any related server-side errors.

– If there are any cURL issues on your site. I see that you’re hosted on IIS server so please check this document as well: https://martinsblog.dk/windows-iis-with-php-curl-60-ssl-certificate-problem-unable-to-get-local-issuer-certificate/

Please also enable WP_DEBUG (http://codex.wordpress.org/Debugging_in_WordPress#WP_DEBUG_LOG) for your site, reconnect Square, and check if you see any errors there. Your host can also help you with that. Paste any errors you get here in your response.
