When will double dash problem will be fixed in wordpress

    Guys,

    I am using wordpress for most of my blogs and i am having double dash shows as single dash and at the moment i am using some hard coded code in formating.php file.

    I just want to know when wordpress team will fix this problem or it is acting like single dash for some reaso.

    As far as I am aware, this is deliberate. -- creates an elongated hyphen as opposed to a standard short hyphen,

    I too wish to input double dashes in my posts. Is there a workaround we can all use?
