    After upgrading to 2.9, my tag panels no longer let me add new tags in the post editor.

    When I click in the box to type a new tag, the Add New Tag text doesn’t disappear, and the relevant tags box doesn’t show up. I can’t add anything I type.

    Anyone else run into this?

    Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem? If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-related problems?

    Tried that, no go.

    For now I’m going to stay at 2.8.6.

    Took esmi advice and found the problem. A Plugin called More Fields was causing the problem.
