Go to Translatepress => Advanced Tab -> Activate the following:
“Filter Gettext wrapping from post meta”
Also, my suggestion would be to do this in a safe environment like on a staging website or a subdomain.
P.S. If you are using a caching plugin please clear the cache from all the website after you save the option.
