Two meta Descriptions

    Hello!

    So I have a problem that there are two meta descriptions on each page.

    I use multilanguage site and the double meta descriptions make problems because social networks take the og:description.
    The name=”description” renders correctly using the correct language.

    How do I disable the og:description or how to make og:description render th same text like name=”description”?

    Hi @raimondos1195,

    Thank you for reaching out.

    It is correct that there are 2 meta descriptions. The first one, without the og: in front, is the one for search engines. The og: version is the Open Graph version and is used for Facebook and other social platforms.

    We do see that the og:description is quite long and shows multiple languages in it. We expect this to be a bug with the multilingual plugin you are using. If you are using their latest version, we encourage you to reach out to them to get this fixed.
