Searching with multiple taxonomies

    Has anybody got any recommendations for searching posts based on multiple taxonomies?

    Eg.:
    myblog.com/?taxonomy1=category&term1=sport&taxonomy2=people&term2=john-smith

    So far I’ve been building a custom sql query using multiple LEFT JOIN’s, but it’s getting prohibitively excessive as the number of taxonomies increases.
