Hi @mustafa7034,
Thank you for your message.
What is your problem? Sorry, but I don’t understand your question.
Tell me please have you read the plugin FAQ? There are answers to many questions. Remember to always read the FAQ of the plugin and other similar threads before adding a thread in the support section.
Many problems could be solved without adding a thread, because the issue has already been raised in the FAQ or another thread. And that saves a lot of time. I will be grateful if you understand me and appreciate your and my time.
For my part, I can say that I checked your site and everything works without problems. If you don’t know how the plugin works, please read the FAQ. There is even a special question “How to check if plugin works” in which you have step-by-step instructions on how to check if the plugin works.
plugin is working. my problem; I run my website on the platform that supports Webp. but it uploads pictures in jpg format. that is, it does not run the automatic webp format.
@mustafa7034, I still don’t understand your question. Could you explain it and show a screenshot, for example?
I run my website with google chrome. But webp doesn’t load. Showing jpg.
@mustafa7034, please show me the screenshot.
@mustafa7034 tell me please, did you read the FAQ and plugin description? In particular, question “How to check if plugin works?”.
interesting:) thank you understand.
The plugin does not change URLs. All this is explained in the description of the plugin and in the FAQ. When you check the URL to the image, you can see the entire file. When you try to save it to disk, you save the original file.
In a situation where your web browser loads the image on the website, it is redirected to WebP, without changing the URL. That’s why you see the changed Type in Dev Tools.
This is how the plugin works. Thanks to this, regardless of whether your browser supports WebP or not, everything works without problems.
Here you have confirmation for your website:
this link dont workCheck this URL: https://i.ibb.co/G2LZbxR/webp-alo.png
Yes thank you 🙂
@mateuszgbiorczyk I was having a similar issue.
Everything with the plugin seems to work properly
– Images converted successfullyBut when I use chrome dev tools and check the network for images, none of the images are WebP types, they are still jpg and png.
The WebP images were created in /wp-content/uploads-webpc/uploads
Is that correct? Would be happy to pay you to get this working properly on my site. Do you have an email I may contact you on?
@jasonwastaken, in that case please contact me via e-mail.
@jasonwastaken, the answer to your question is in the plugin FAQ, in the question “Why are some images not in WebP?”.
You are using another image optimization plugin that has already heavily converted images before. After converting them to WebP, there is no difference in size and therefore the original images are used.
I turned off “Automatic removal of WebP files larger than original” option in settings and regenerated all images. All images were visible as WebP. Remember that it is not worth combining many image compression plugins, as they are mutually exclusive.
I have restored your website to its original state.
