Hi There…
I personally don’t use Elementor, and in my opinion, visual editors are annoying and slow, and bloated. I can look into this but it’s not high on my list of priorities for a free plugin.
I’m not trying to be a jerk… I’m just being honest.
That’s fine, we’re just using the work around for now as we rarely edit pages. Our clients really like builders so we use them for their sake and I’m sure other people use them as well.
So, I just wanted you to know there was an issue in case you did want to look at it or were thinking of going premium at any point, it wasn’t a demand to fix it 🙂
I didn’t think it was 😉
I may look into this as I have time… it’s been mentioned before that there’s issues with elementor.
Hi. Can you please tell me exactly what the error is that you’re getting?
“Sorry, the content area was not found in your page.
You must call ‘the_content’ function in the current template, in order for Elementor to work on this page.”
Here’s the link to the help guide: https://docs.elementor.com/article/56-content-area-not-found?utm_source=editor-panel&utm_medium=wp-dash&utm_campaign=learn
It only happens on pages with the carousel on and stops when the plugin is deactivated. The page can then be edited and saved as normal if the plugin is reactivated, it’s just the loading it has an issue with.
HI @thesmartbear would you please try this version https://github.com/DuckDivers/owl-carousel-2/archive/elementor.zip and let me know if that solves the issue with Elementor?
Thanks.
I will release a plugin update shortly.
