• Friendly Lite 1.0.5.

    I’ve created a child theme to overwrite a few things from the otherwise excellent theme.
    One thing I would love to disable is the “Comments are closed” message on the single.php page. I’ve disabled commenting on my website.

    Code-wise, it looks good. single.php, line 57:

    echo ‘<p class=”no-comment”>’ . _e( ‘Comments are closed.’, ‘friendly-lite’ ) . ‘</p>’;

    … however, it comes out on the page as:

    </nav>Comments are closed.<p class=”no-comment”></p> </main><!– #main –>

    (The above is the entire line).

    It would be nice, if the message ended up in the the <p>..</p> block as expected 🙂

    Thanks for a great theme!

    Best regards,
    Brian
